Kingston sits in one of Crystal Palace's strongest reception zones — clean line of sight north-east across the Thames and the South London suburbs, with the mast only six miles away. A compact Group A aerial on a roof, balcony or communal headend delivers strong Freeview HD almost everywhere. The exceptions are the larger gardens around Coombe and Kingston Hill where mature trees have grown into line-of-sight, and a handful of riverside flats where local building height blocks the signal.
