How we get an aerial point to a new room without a mess

Most jobs go up into the loft, across the joists, and drop down inside the wall into a flush wall plate — completely invisible from the room. Where lofts aren't accessible (flats, modern builds with foamed-in roofs) we run cable along the outside in colour-matched trunking that disappears against the brickwork.

When you need a distribution amplifier

One aerial signal split across more than 2 TVs starts to lose strength — channels pixelate, some refuse to tune. The fix is a powered distribution amplifier (3-way, 4-way or 8-way) fitted in the loft, which boosts the signal before splitting it. We include this in the quote whenever it's needed — no later 'I told you so' callbacks.

Loft conversions, garden rooms & outbuildings

Loft conversion fed from the aerial above it. Garden offices and gym studios fed via outdoor-rated coax with a weatherproofed splitter. Annexe and granny flat installs done routinely — we work alongside your builder if the conversion is in progress, or retrofit cleanly into finished rooms.

Common questions

Extra TV Points Surrey — the questions we get asked.

How much does an extra TV point cost in Surrey?

One new point from your existing aerial, with cabling concealed and a flush wall plate, is £160 fixed. Two points £220, four points £320. Distribution amp included if your existing aerial can't drive the new load.

Do I need a separate aerial for the new room?

Almost never — your existing aerial usually has plenty of signal to split. We test signal strength on arrival and only suggest a new aerial if there's a genuine reason.

Will you have to drill through finished walls?

Yes, but minimally — typically a single neat hole at the new wall-plate position. We feed cable through lofts and floor voids wherever possible, so the visible work is just the new socket itself.

Can you put a TV point in a garden room?

Yes — we use outdoor-rated coax and weatherproofed splitters. Most garden room installs are done in under 2 hours.

Will the new point work on every TV?

Yes — any TV with Freeview built in. We hand over with signal tested and the TV retuned.
