Surrey's reception isn't one-size-fits-all

If you live in Epsom, Sutton, Kingston, Croydon or anywhere along the South London border, your TV signal usually comes from Crystal Palace — a high-power transmitter that needs the right grouped aerial to lock in cleanly. Towns deeper in Surrey (Guildford, Woking, Dorking, parts of Leatherhead) often pull a usable signal from Hannington or Guildford instead. The wrong aerial in the wrong direction is the single biggest cause of pixelation, freezing and missing channels.

We arrive with a spectrum analyser and a van full of Group A, Group K, wideband and high-gain log-periodic aerials — so we can match the install to your transmitter, your roof height and your local terrain on the first visit.

• New digital aerial sized for your transmitter and reception
• Heavy-duty stainless steel lashing kit or wall bracket
• Weatherproofed cable entry and tidy CT100 satellite-grade coax
• Wall plate, F-connectors and a fully tested signal on your TV
• Removal and safe disposal of the old aerial

Common Surrey reception problems we fix daily

If channels keep dropping out, only some channels work, or you've lost everything after a storm — these are the usual culprits:

• Aerial pointing at the wrong transmitter (very common after retunes)
• Corroded F-connectors or perished coax at the wall entry
• Wrong grouped aerial (Group A fitted in a Group K area, or vice versa)
• Storm damage — bent elements, snapped mast, loose lashing
